He said, “If you prioritize franchise cricket, then forget about the WTC final. If it is necessary for you to play for the country, then the BCCI should make it a rule in the contract that they need a player who wants to play for the country.”
Along with this, he also said, “BCCI should first introduce this rule in IPL that if possible, they can drop star players from IPL at any time. Because, they may be needed in the upcoming tournament.”
Australia’s team is tough
After losing the toss and batting first, Australia scored 469 runs in the first innings. After this, India got off to a very poor start in chasing the challenge. From Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill to Virat Kohli, all the batsmen returned to the tent cheaply. Rahane made the best innings of 89 runs for the Indian team. Also, Jadeja scored 48 runs and Shardul scored 51 runs off 109 balls.
