India dominates on the second day too! 2 big shocks after Yashasvi-Rohit’s brilliant century, the team lead by 162 runs

The first Test match is being played in India against West Indies. The second day of the Dominica Test match was played by the Indian team. After bowling out West Indies for 150 on the first day, India took a 162-run lead at the end of the second day’s play on the strength of the first innings. Captain Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored centuries for the Indian team on the second day. At the end of the day’s play, India had scored 312 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. Yashasvi 143 and Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 36 runs.

Yashasvi and Rohit shone in the first season
In the first session of the second day, Indian openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma started to take care of the innings. Both took the team’s score past 100. Meanwhile, Yashasvi Jaiswal also completed his first half-century. Also, Rohit Sharma scored his 15th Test half-century. After that, till the lunch break, India scored 146 runs without losing a single wicket. India scored a total of 66 runs in the first session.

Opener’s century with 2 knocks in second session
After the lunch break, the openers increased the run rate as the second session began. Meanwhile, Jaiswal scored a century on his Test debut. Also, he included himself in a special club. Along with this, there was a big partnership of 200 runs between captain Rohit and Yashasvi.

Rohit also completed his 10th Test century in the same season. However, he could not stay on the field for long after scoring a century. He returned to the tent with 103 runs. The Indian team had to bear the first setback at 229 runs this time. After that, Shubman Gill came to bat at the third position. However, Gill, who is known for his explosive batting, returned to the tent after scoring only 6 runs this time. At the end of the second session, India were 245 for 2.

Success in the last session and Virat taking the team’s lead past 150
In the final session of the day, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli did not give the hosts a chance to make a comeback. Both of them put on a partnership of 72 runs for the third wicket while batting with care. Also, the team’s score reached 312 by the end of the day’s play. India now have a lead of 162 runs on the basis of the first innings.
