The upcoming ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup 2023 tournament will be held from July 13 to 23 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The tournament will be played in the 50 over format of eight Asian teams. The schedule of this tournament has been announced recently, arch rivals India and Pakistan will meet each other on July 19.
ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup 2023 has two groups and India A team is in Group ‘B’. The group includes Nepai, UAE A and Pakistan A along with India. Additionally, Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Afghanistan A and Oman A are in Group ‘A’. The top teams from both these groups will qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament.
The Indian team will begin their campaign in the tournament on July 14 against the United Arab Emirates. After that, India’s second match will be played against Nepal on July 17. The last league match will be played against Pakistan on July 19. If India and Pakistan qualify for the final, it will once again be a battle between these two teams. Delhi’s Yash Dhool, who led India to the Under-19 World Cup last year, is leading the Indian team in the tournament.
