India won the Lord’s Test only because of ‘that’ bowler’s anger! The former coach revealed

India’s former bowling coach Bharat Arun has now attributed the victory to veteran fast bowler Ishant Sharma.

“In the first innings of that Test, when Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow were forming a partnership, Ishant was quite angry. During the lunch break he came into the dressing room and threw his hat. He asked what should be done to dismiss them. So I said keep it up. He said how long to continue? Aggression will also have to be shown. On that I said consistency is not just bowling at one place. One can show consistency even by bowling aggressively.”

After this, he dismissed Bairstow, Moeen Ali and Sam Karan when he got on the field. India won this match and took the lead in the series. England won the next match and tied it. But in the fourth match, the Indian team won again. The last match of this series was played after a year. England won that match to level the series.
