“Indian team is very lucky because…”, Rahul Dravid’s big statement

In the second Test match played in Delhi, the Indian team defeated Australia by 6 wickets. With this win, the Indian team took a 2-0 lead in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series. In the match played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, India completed the challenge of 115 runs for victory in the fourth innings with the loss of four wickets. After this victory, Indian team’s head coach Rahul Dravid praised Indian captain Rohit Sharma.

The Indian team made a tremendous comeback in this match. While the Indian team was trailing in the match at the end of the second day, on the third day in the very first session, India stormed the match. After that, India also celebrated the victory in the second session. Speaking after this victory, the head coach of the Indian team, Rahul Dravid, faced the reporters. He praised Indian captain Rohit Sharma on this occasion. He said,

“Rohit is one of the most experienced players in the team. Everyone respects him as he has been a part of the team for many years. He is one of those people who speaks less but listens to everyone. We are certainly lucky to have someone like Rohit taking over the leadership of the team after Virat.”

Rohit is leading the Indian team in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for the first time. India had won the first Test at Nagpur in just three days in a very one-sided manner. After that, the team won the second Test and won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. With one more match win, the Indian team will enter the finals of the World Test Championship.
