Indian team will be seen in white jersey after five months! Know the schedule

The second Test match against Bangladesh was canceled due to rain on the last day. As a result, the match ended in a draw, but India won the series. It was India’s second-to-last Test match of the year. Because the last match of the year will be played by the team in the week of December. In the intervening five months, fans will not see Indian players playing Test cricket.

This is a matter of concern for Test cricket fans. But with the Asia Cup and ODI World Cup, there will be no shortage of entertainment. The Indian team (Team India) will go on a tour of South Africa (SA vs IND) in the month of December. The team has to play T20, ODI and Test series here. The last Test series will start on December 26. A Test match played on a scheduled day is also known as a ‘Boxing Day Test’.

The second match against Bangladesh ends on July 24, while India have their next match against South Africa at Centurion from December 26. That means there is a gap of five months between these two matches. This Test series between India and South Africa will be part of the World Test Championship i.e. WTC. The second and final Test between the two teams will begin on 3 January 2024. The second Test match will be played in Cape Town.

Which series will the team play in the intervening five months?
For the Indian team, three important tournaments are to be played in the intervening five months. It has one Asia Cup, second Asian Games and third ODI World Cup. The Asia Cup will be held in Sri Lanka, while the Asian Games will be held in China. However, the Indian team will play the host of the ODI World Cup itself.
