India’s Ireland tour announced! The team will play an important series before the ODI World Cup

The Indian team’s tour of Ireland has been announced. Fans have got the information about this tour of India from the Ireland cricket team. The Indian team will tour Ireland for a three-match series. The first T20 match between India and Ireland will be played on August 18. The second and third matches of the series will be played on August 20 and 23. All three matches will be played in Malahide, a suburb of Dublin.

First Match – August 18
Second match – 20 August
Third match – 23 August

Chief Executive Officer of Ireland Cricket Board Warren Deutrom gave detailed information about this series. Also thanked BCCI for making the tour of Ireland even in his busy schedule. Warren Deutrom said, “We are delighted to welcome the Indian team to Ireland for the second time in 12 months. All tickets for the two matches in 2022 were sold out. In this way, the audience will get more opportunities to enjoy the three-match series this year. This is a moment to remember forever.”

Meanwhile, the Indian team will begin their West Indies tour on July 12 after a month long break. India have to play a series of two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is in the West Indies. After the tour ended on 13 August, the team left for Ireland. The upcoming ODI World Cup will start on October 5 and on Tuesday (June 27) BCCI announced the complete schedule of the World Cup. Players will have to play consecutive matches in ODI World Cup. In this way, the senior players of the team can be rested before the tour of Ireland.
