India’s legendary cricket coach arrested in sex scandal, attempts suicide as video goes viral
Shocking news is coming out from the world of cricket. Harendra Shah, former coach of India’s legendary women’s cricket team and currently coaching at the Dehradun Cricket Academy, has had problems. The police have arrested him on charges of sexual harassment, intimidation and caste abuse against women athletes. Harendra Shah has been accused of demanding physical comfort from women players in his own academy.
Harendra Shah used to coach mostly 13 to 18-year-old girls in cricket. A case has been registered against him under the POCSO Act. Coach Harendra Shah even tried to commit suicide by consuming poison after a clip went viral. He was later accused of molestation and sexual assault.
