India’s premier batsman takes batting practice in rain, ready for ‘Ya’ tournament; Watch the video

Indian Premier League 2023 competition is over and domestic cricket is going to start once again in India. Indian players are seen preparing hard for this. This includes India’s brilliant batsman Mayank Agarwal. Mayank has shared a video of his practice on social media. Mayank Agarwal is seen batting in the rain. The rain is making the ball hit his bat even faster. His video is going viral on social media.

In fact, the Duleep Trophy tournament is starting from June 28. For this, the South Zone selection committee has made Mayank Agarwal the vice-captain. Mayank performed brilliantly while playing for the Karnataka team in the Ranji Trophy last season. Now he will try to perform well in Duleep Trophy as well. So that he could make a comeback in the Indian Test team. Mayank is working hard for this.

Mayank shared a video from his official Instagram account on June 20. In this video, he is practicing batting in the nets with a wet tennis ball in the rain. Sharing the video, he captioned it, “If you use it to train yourself, even rain can’t spoil your game.”

Mayank has not played a Test match for India for almost 15 months
Interestingly, it has been almost 15 months since Mayank was dropped from India’s Test team. He played his last Test against Sri Lanka at M. Played at Chinnaswamy Stadium in March, 2022. In this day-night test match played at home ground, Mayank could only score 26 runs in both innings.

Shubman Gill has confirmed his place in the Indian team by replacing Mayank. He has played many brilliant knocks in his short Test career. Gill currently opens the innings in Test cricket with captain Rohit Sharma. If Mayank wants to get back into the team, he will have to find a rhythm.
