IPL 2023 was a disappointment for Warner’s team, but captain overtook Virat

Delhi Capitals’ performance in the Indian Premier League 2023 has been very poor. Chennai Super Kings reached the playoffs after defeating Delhi on Saturday (May 20). He has achieved this feat in IPL 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020 and now 2023. Former India captain Virat Kohli’s record was also broken by Warner. Previously, Virat Kohli and Warner each scored 500 runs in 6 IPL seasons. But on Saturday, Warner went ahead of Virat. KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan are number three and four respectively in the list.
