According to The Guardian, Jonny Bairstow was injured while playing golf last summer. A trip on the golf course injured his left arm, which has not yet healed. The disappointing news came on the eve of IPL 2023 for Beasto’s franchise Punjab Kings. Earlier, 33-year-old Bairstow had withdrawn from T20 World Cup 2022 due to injury. He also had to withdraw from England’s tour of Pakistan and New Zealand. Meanwhile, the upcoming IPL starts on March 31. The first match of the series is being played between defending champions Gujarat Giants and Chennai Super Kings.
