Talking about Dinesh Karthik’s performance in the IPL 2023 season, he failed to perform well. He got a chance to play 14 matches, but managed to score only 140 runs at a strike rate of 134.62. In addition, a bad record was also recorded on his name. He became the most wicket-taker in IPL history with 17 wickets. Rohit Sharma is second in this list and has a record of 16 wickets to his name.

What did Moody say?
Expressing fear, Tom Moody said that this could be the last season for Dinesh Karthik. Speaking to the media, Moody said, “It has been a very ordinary season for Dinesh Karthik. You might even think this might not be his last season.”

Earlier RCB captain Faf Du Plessis also expressed concern about Dinesh Karthik’s form. He said that RCB lacked a brilliant finisher this time.

After the match, Faf said, “We have to improve on our finishing. Need to score fast especially at the end. Dinesh Karthik was in great form last year and was finishing the match well. However, this time he couldn’t score on that count.”
