In this match, Rahul made a stormy innings of 75 runs off 91 balls. It included 1 six and 7 fours. After this winning innings, Rahul commented on his and Jadeja’s special strategy. He said, “Our wickets fell early. Starc’s ball was swinging. However, the opening fours helped me set up early. Had a great partnership with Jadeja. We were not discussing something different while playing on the field. Our only aim was to score runs on the bad ball that came. He played a very good innings. He knows his role in that position very well.”
