Jadeja’s big reaction about the Nagpur Test pitch, also gave special advice to Australian spinners

The first day of the Nagpur Test match remained in the name of the Indian team. The Australian media and their players were expressing concern about the pitch even before the match started. The pitch was expected to be a rank turner (more suitable for spin bowling). But according to Ravindra Jadeja, who had a tremendous performance on the first day, the pitch was not a rank turner.

The first match of the Border Gavaskar Test series was played on Thursday (February 9) at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. The first innings of the Australian team was wrapped up on the first day of the match. Australia scored 177 runs in the first innings. Ravindra Jadeja’s contribution remained the most important to wrap up the visiting team cheaply. Jadeja took five wickets for 47 runs in 22 overs.

Jadeja’s special reaction after the first day’s play –
Ravindra Jadeja is being praised everywhere for his first day performance. After the day’s play, Jadeja made a special comment about the pitch to the media. Jadeja said, “This pitch is not a rank turner. The ball is getting less speed on the pitch and the bounce is also less compared to other pitches. I think it was not too difficult to defend today. But as the match progresses, it will become difficult to defend. Test cricket is like that.”

Advice from Ravindra Jadeja to Australian spinners –
Speaking on the occasion, Jadeja also gave advice to the Australian spinners. “Their spinners also performed well. It is only a matter of time. It’s not like you’re just bowling and getting wickets in every over. You have to be patient while continuing to bowl. You have to bowl over the wicket around the wicket. When the batsmen’s partnership is settled, you have to change the bowling. The ball has to be bowled in the right area,” Jadeja added. (Ravindra Jadeja’s reaction after the first day’s play)
