Jaiswal breaks Australian legend’s record in IPL; Became the league’s best uncapped player

India’s young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal is in tremendous form. Jaiswal has had an amazing innings in the Indian Premier League 2023. He also completed his 600th run in the current IPL season on Friday (May 18). Jaiswal seems to be cementing his identity as the future of the Indian team.

In IPL 2023, Jaiswal scored 8 fifties and 1 century in the first 13 matches. On Friday, Jaiswal stepped out to play his 14th match of the season. He crossed his 600-run mark of the season in the match against Punjab Kings. Also, Jaiswal has become the first Indian in IPL to score 600 runs this year. He has also become the first Indian uncapped player to score 600 IPL runs.

Jaiswal’s name is newly added to the list of those who scored 600 runs in an IPL season before turning 25 years of age. A total of four players have achieved this feat so far.
