Gujarat Titans beat Kolkata by 7 wickets with 13 runs to spare. Batting first, Kolkata scored 179 runs in the allotted 20 overs in this match played at Eden Gardens Stadium, Kolkata. Chasing this challenge, Gujarat scored 180 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 17.5 overs.

Joshua Little made a big revelation after winning the man of the match award. He said that he benefited from talking to captain Hardik Pandya before the match. He said, “I had a discussion with Hardik Pandya before the match and we discussed that we want to keep things easy and simple. The plan was to bowl hard lengths. I am happy to be able to do so.”
