Let the cost be for the World Cup! 500 crores will be calculated by BCCI due to the demands made by the fans

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is currently busy planning the IPL 2023. The BCCI will host the ODI World Cup, which is said to be the biggest festival of cricket, later this year. In this regard, now the BCCI has taken an important decision and has approved the expenditure of Rs. 500 crore for the renovation of five of the grounds where the World Cup matches will be played.

This time, BCCI and India will host a full ODI World Cup for the first time. The World Cup will be played in 12 different cities across India. The 48 matches of this World Cup will be played at venues in twelve cities namely Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Dharamshala, Guwahati, Lucknow, Indore and Rajkot. The World Cup will be held from October 5 to November 19.

The BCCI annual meeting was held recently. Many important decisions were taken in this. BCCI is ready to spend Rs 500 crore for some facilities on the ground where the World Cup matches will be held. Some time ago, spectators from Delhi and Mumbai said that there was a lack of drinking water and toilets at these grounds. That is why the BCCI has decided to spend on the renovation of three more grounds in addition to these two cities.

According to the information received from BCCI, under this provision, the maximum amount of Rs 127 crore will be spent at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. 117.17 will then be spent on the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. 100 crores will be spent on the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Additionally, Rs 79.46 crore will be spent on the stadium in Mohali and Rs 78.42 crore on the Wankhede stadium.
