Lucknow made the match against Punjab historic! Ranked among the highest scorers

Lucknow Super Giants made history in the match against Punjab Kings. The match was played in Mohali on Friday (April 28). Lucknow posted the second highest total in IPL history after losing the toss in the match. Falling just 6 runs short, Lucknow Super Giants could not break Royal Challengers Bangalore’s record.

Marcus Stoinis and Kyle Mayers scored half-centuries in this match for Lucknow. Lucknow scored 257 for 5 in the stipulated 20 overs. It became the second biggest innings in IPL history. The highest score in the IPL belongs to Royal Challengers Bangalore i.e. RCB. In 2013, RCB scored as many as 263 runs against the Pune Warriors India team. These records are still unbroken. In the list of the best runs, the name of RCB is again at the third place. In 2016, RCB scored 248 runs against Gujarat Lions, which is the third highest score in IPL history today. Fourth in the list is MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings team. CSK scored 246 runs against Rajasthan Royals in 2010.
