Madhwal’s mind like the sky! Said, “Don’t compare me with Bumrah, his status is different”
In the IPL 2023 eliminator match Lucknow Super Giants Vs. The Mumbai Indians team came face to face. Mumbai literally defeated the Lucknow team in this match and achieved a resounding victory by 81 runs. Now they will face Gujarat Titans in Qualifier Two. Young fast bowler Akash Madhwal was the architect of Mumbai’s victory. He dismissed five batsmen while bowling a storm. At the same time, he succeeded in winning everyone’s hearts due to a statement he made while speaking after the match.
The Lucknow team entered this match with the aim of qualifying. However, Akash started shaking his team right from the start. He first dismissed opener Prerak Mankad. Then Ayush Badoni and Nicholas Pooran were shown the way to the tent on successive balls. He then dismissed Ravi Bishnoi and Mohsin Khan to end Lucknow’s innings. “I cannot be compared to Jaspreet. His status is different and mine is different. I don’t like to be compared to anyone. Next time I will try to bowl better and contribute to Mumbai’s win.”
Akash Madhwal is seen playing in IPL for the first time this year. Akash, who plays domestic cricket for Uttarakhand, also played as a net bowler for RCB in 2019. He then came as a netballer for Mumbai Indians. After that he was given an opportunity to play IPL directly.
