Memes rain on Twitter as SRH’s expensive player flops, ‘poetizing Harry Brook after match’
The Indian Premier League 2023 tournament is filled with players from around the world. While many players are performing brilliantly in this tournament, some are playing well in just one match and flopping in the rest. This includes the name of England’s young batsman Harry Brook. Sunrisers Hyderabad signed Harry Brook for Rs 13.25 crore. However, when it came time to perform in the IPL, Brook has been a flop in all but one match. On Saturday (April 29) against Delhi Capitals, Brook returned to the tent with a wicket in just 2 balls. So he once again upset the Hyderabad fans.
Harry Brook has been the opening batsman for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the matches so far. However, he was dropped to bat in the middle order against Delhi. After the dismissal of captain Aiden Markram, he too returned to the tent immediately. Brook has played 8 matches in this IPL season. During this time he has played a total of 163 matches. In this he scored 100 runs in a single match. That is, he has been able to score only 63 runs in the other 7 matches.
Harry Brook is a consistent flop. So now he is being heavily trolled on social media. In fact, Brook was roped in by Hyderabad for a whopping Rs 13.25 crore due to his brilliant performances in international cricket. However, he does not seem to be performing up to par.
