The names of 9 international players have been announced by MI New York. This includes Kieron Pollard, Rashid Khan, Trent Boult and Kagiso Rabada. It becomes the fifth franchise owned by the Reliance Group worldwide. He owns Mumbai Indians in IPL and Women’s Premier League, MI Emirates in International League T20 and MI Cape Town in SA T20.
Along with the players, the team also announced its support staff. Former South African all-rounder Robin Pietersen will be the head coach of the team. J Arun Kumar as the batting coach and Lasith Malinga as the bowling coach. James Payment will be the fielding coach.
