Moeen Ali played his last Test match on 2 September 2021 against India. He had taken two wickets for India at that time. After that, he was away from Test cricket for the last two years. On 16 June 2023, he once again donned the England jersey and took a wicket on 17 June. In the overall match, when Australia lost the wicket of Head, the team’s score was 148 for 4.
