Boucher also commented on working with Rohit Sharma for the first time. He said, “When I first played against Rohit, I was a wicketkeeper. I said, ‘This kid has taken so long to play.’ It’s all about learning from each other. I will take the pressure off him in any way possible, which will give him a chance to go out and express his skills. I’m just expecting him to have a great season. Also, looking forward to the challenge.”
In fact, Mumbai Indians’ first match will be against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 2. The team performed very poorly in the previous season.
