‘Near and dear people also left support’, Chetesh Sharma in trouble after the post of chairman of the selection committee

The Board of Control for Cricket in India i.e. BCCI got a big shock in the month of February this year. A news media conducted a sting operation against Chetan Sharma and it was also successful. Sharma was the chairman of the selection committee of the Indian team at that time. After the sting operation video surfaced, he resigned as the chairman of the selection committee on his own. Sharma was re-elected as the chairman of the selection committee of the Indian team in January this year. But the very next month, he had to resign as the chairman of the selection committee due to this sting operation.

In this sting operation conducted by a news media, Chenat Sharma was seen speaking clearly about many things. Sharma was talking about Virat Kohli, some other players in the team, Sourav Ganguly, upcoming team meetings and the BCCI as a whole. After this video was leaked, he himself resigned from his post. After Sharma’s resignation, BCCI wants a new chairman for the selection committee. Currently, Shiv Sundar Das is looking after this administration as the acting president.
