Nepal team made history! UAE wins Asia Cup 2023 ticket, ‘these’ 6 teams will enter the field

The cricket team of Nepal, a small country with a population of over 3 crores, has achieved a historic feat. Nepal team created history on May 1. Nepal cricket team has qualified for Asia Cup 2023. Nepal team has done this feat for the first time in the history of Asia Cup. In the ACC Men’s Premier League, Nepal secured their ticket to Asia Cup 2023 after defeating UAE in the final. Five teams were already decided for the tournament, including the names of India and Pakistan.

Apart from India vs Pakistan, defending champions Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will also play in Asia Cup 2023. Now Nepal has also entered the tournament as the sixth team. The last time the tournament was played, the UAE team was the sixth team in the tournament. However, it is yet to be decided where the Asia Cup 2023 will be held. Presently, it is hosted by Pakistan Cricket Board.

Talking about the Nepal vs UAE team, Rohit Kumar, the captain of the Nepal team won the toss and decided to bowl. This decision of the captain was right. Because, the UAE team was all out for 117 runs in 33.1 overs. This time Asif Khan scored 46 runs for UAE, but apart from him no other batsman could perform well. Also, Nepal team reached the target of 118 runs in 30.2 overs with the loss of 3 wickets. Also, made history by qualifying for the Asia Cup. This time, Gulsan Jha scored the most runs from Nepal. He scored an unbeaten 67 off 84 balls. It included 3 fours and 5 sixes. Apart from him, Bhim Sharqi also played an important role in helping the team win by scoring 36 runs off 72 balls.
