The first and historic Women’s Premier League auction was held on February 13 in Mumbai. A total of five teams will be playing in this first season of WPL. This video shared by Sachin is going viral on social media. Meanwhile, considering the WPL auction, Indian opener Smriti Mandhana became the most expensive player. RCB added Smriti to the fold by spending Rs 3.40 crores to buy her. A total of 10 players who played for the Indian team in Liliwa were bought for less than Rs 1 crore.
