Crores of rupees were spent on some players from India and abroad in the auction. Referring to the same auction, Sachin Tendulkar shared a beautiful video on Magalwari (February 14).

The first and historic Women’s Premier League auction was held on February 13 in Mumbai. A total of five teams will be playing in this first season of WPL. All these five teams literally showered money to buy women players. Some cricket experts believe that this auction is very important for the future of women’s cricket. WPL will be important to bring better days for women’s cricket in the future. According to Sachin Tendulkar, women’s cricket has seen better days after Liliwa.

Sachin has shared a video from his official social media account. The video is of a village and some small boys and girls are playing cricket. The girl in the video is seen imitating Indian team batsman Suryakumar Yadav. This little girl is trying to play shots the way Suryakumar goes outside the stumps and plays shots. Sharing the video, Sachin wrote in the caption, “The auction was held yesterday and the match started today? I enjoyed this innings.”

This video shared by Sachin is going viral on social media. Meanwhile, considering the WPL auction, Indian opener Smriti Mandhana became the most expensive player. RCB added Smriti to the fold by spending Rs 3.40 crores to buy her. A total of 10 players who played for the Indian team in Liliwa were bought for less than Rs 1 crore.
