No century in international career and selected as head coach of Pakistan for two years

Former New Zealand all-rounder Grant Bradman has been appointed as the head coach of the Pakistan men’s cricket team. The duration of training will be 2 years. Prior to this, Grant worked as a consultant to the Pakistan Cricket Team. The Pakistan Cricket Board on Saturday announced the appointment of Grant Bradman as the head coach. Grant was in charge of the Pakistan team in the recent ODI series against New Zealand. In this series, Babar Azam’s team won 4-1 against New Zealand.

Who is Grant Bradburn though?
The 56-year-old former New Zealander Grant used to play as an all-rounder for the Kiwis. Bradburn (Former all-rounder Grant Bradman) has represented New Zealand in 7 Tests and 11 ODIs. Grant has played for New Zealand for nearly 11 years. After this, Grant considered getting into coaching. He held the position of Pakistan team’s fielding coach from 2018 to 2020. Grant then worked for Pakistan at the National Cricket Academy.

PCB Chairman Najam Sethi said in a statement, “Bradburn’s experience is being made as the new Pakistan coach.” According to the PCB chief, “Having worked with our men’s team in the NCA, Grant understands our style of play very well. Grant is the ideal candidate to lead the Pakistan team forward.”

Mickey Arthur as the team director
The Pakistan Cricket Board recently appointed former head coach Mickey Arthur (team director Mickey Arthur) as the team director. Meanwhile, Arthur has been appointed as the Pakistan team director for the 50-over Asia Cup, apart from the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan. Earlier, Arthur was the head coach of Pakistan for a long time. Arthur has also coached the Pakistan Cricket Team online. Apart from this, former South African cricketer Andrew Puttick (batting coach Andrew Puttick) is going to be the batting coach of the Pakistan cricket team for the next 2 years.
