The defending champions Gujarat Titans are in a storming form in the IPL 2023 tournament. Gujarat played their 10th individual match on Friday (May 5) against Rajasthan Royals. In this match, Gujarat team achieved a resounding victory by 9 wickets. Rashid Khan became the hero of this victory. Gujarat defeated Rajasthan for their seventh win of the season. Rajasthan Royals were defeated by Gujarat Titans at their own home ground i.e. Jaipur Sawai Mansingh Stadium. After this, Hardik Pandya said, “I let Rashid Khan manage the work with Noor. ‘Older Saha one of the best wicketkeepers’
Pandya praised Wriddhiman Saha. He said, “I think Vriddhi is one of the best wicketkeepers. We are doing our job and have no worries. Me and Ashu Pa (Ashish Nehra) discuss only when necessary. I made some mistakes in decision-making in the previous match, but by the time Shubman was knocked out, I was half done. I don’t hesitate to accept mistakes.”

Briefly about the match
Batting first in this match, Rajasthan team scored only 118 runs losing all wickets in 17.5 overs. Chasing this challenge, Gujarat batted brilliantly and ended the match within an hour. Saha and Gill made a good start from Gujarat this time. However, Gill was dismissed for 36 runs. After that, skipper Pandya was in the third place. He batted stormy this time.

Pandya hit 39 runs off 15 balls with the help of 3 fours and 3 sixes. Also, Saha’s 34 balls included 41 runs. Thus Gujarat scored 119 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in 13.5 overs and won the match by 9 wickets. Rashid Khan contributed a lot in this victory. He took 3 wickets while bowling 4 overs for 14 runs. Also, Noor Ahmed also took 2 wickets spending 25 runs in 3 overs.
