Not possible! Legend rubbishes chances of Australia comeback, says “India will win 4-0”

India from March 1 at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore against The third Test in the Australian team is about to begin. India have taken a 2-0 lead in the series after defeating the visiting team in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. Now many have expressed the hope that the Australian team will make a comeback in the remaining two matches of the series. However, former Indian cricket team captain and former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has said that it will be difficult for Australia to come back in this series.

The Australian team entered the series with the intention of winning the series in India after a long time. Many former cricketers have said that only Australia has a chance to win this series. However, during the actual match, the Australian team appeared weaker than India. All the Australian batsmen literally threw nagas in front of the Indian bowlers. The Indian team managed to retain the Border-Gavaskar trophy by winning the first two Tests in Nagpur and Delhi in three days.

After being asked if the Australian team will make a comeback in the series, Sourav Ganguly said,

“Australia are definitely a great team. However, to be honest, it is impossible for them to appear in the series now. In such a scenario Australia team cannot defeat India. For the type of pitches they have in the series, India looks way ahead of Australia. I see the Indian team winning the series 4-0.”

With regular captain Pat Cummins returning home, veteran batsman Steve Smith will lead Australia in the third Test. Apart from that, opener David Warner has also been ruled out of the series.
