Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar will have the pace bowling burden for this series, but Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami will return in their place.
A few days ago, BCCI sources had said that the final decision regarding the T20 squad will be taken only before the ODI World Cup. Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravichandran Ashwin will not be considered for the T20 squad. Only the players who performed brilliantly in the IPL will be considered for the T20 squad henceforth. The Indian team will play under the leadership of Hardik Pandya in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
