One hit four! Behrendorf changed the match, Delhi’s car fell in the 19th over

In the 16th match of IPL 2023, the teams Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals faced each other. It was a good match between these two teams looking for their first win. After getting the chance to bat first, Delhi scored 172 all out. With Delhi in good shape, Jason Behrendorff’s over saw Mumbai take four wickets to strengthen their side in the match.

Mumbai won the toss and elected to bowl first in this match which was played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. His decision was justified by the bowlers. Delhi’s batsmen were seen struggling from the start. Piyush Chawla cut Delhi’s middle order. On one side, captain David Warner scored a restrained half-century. So, Akshar Patel completes the fastest half-century.

Delhi were 165 for 5 at the end of the 18th over. Akshar Patel and David Warner were on the field to bat in the last two overs. Then left-arm fast bowler Jason Behrendorff came in to bowl the over. He caught Akshar on the very first ball. Abhishek Porel then managed to score a run. David Warner was caught on the third ball. The new batsman Kuldeep Yadav tried to score a run on the fourth ball. However, Nehal Vadra threw him directly and ran him out. Abhishek Porel was dismissed on the last ball after the fifth ball went scoreless. Thus suddenly Delhi’s innings collapsed.

After that, Norquay and Mustafizur Rahman scored six runs in the last over to take Delhi to 172.
