Pakistan became the winner of the Emerging Asia Cup! A crushing defeat for India A

The final match of Emerging Asia Cup 2023 was played between India A and Pakistan A. In this match, Pakistan’s experienced team dominated the Indian team one-sidedly and won by 128 runs. With this, Pakistan managed to retain their title in this tournament.

After losing the toss in the final, everything went in Pakistan’s favor. Openers Saim Ayub and Sahebzada Farhan got off to a fast start and put on a 121-run partnership for the first wicket. In between, both also completed half-centuries. The Indian bowlers recovered from this with excellent bowling and took Pakistan to a position of 187 for 5. However, Tayyab Tahir then scored a century in just 66 balls to guide Pakistan to 352. Rajvardhan Hungergekar and Rian Parag took two wickets each for the Indian team.

Chasing these runs, Sai Sudarshan and Abhishek Sharma got off to a stormy start for the Indian team. Both opened with 64 runs in just 8.3 overs. However, first Sai Sudarshan and then Nikin Jose fell prey to the umpires’ wrong decision and returned to the tent. Abhishek Sharma, who scored a half-century, was also dismissed, leaving the Indian team in trouble. At that time captain Yash Dhool scored 39 runs. After that the Indian team had to lose as other batsmen of India failed to make big innings. This is the second time in a row that Pakistan has won this tournament.
