As per the schedule of the upcoming World Cup, the crucial match between India and Pakistan will be played on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. However, other matches of Pakistan team will be played in South India. For the last five-six months, there was a lot of doubt about the Asia Cup and World Cup matches between India and Pakistan. The Asia Cup was earlier to be held in Pakistan. However, due to BCCI’s opposition, the Asia Cup will be held in Sri Lanka and Pakistan. In this, the Indian team will not play a match in Pakistan.
After that, Pakistanis also took a stance of not sending their team to India for the World Cup. However, he eventually decided to withdraw and participate in the World Cup. However, while this is happening now Pakistan’s Sports Minister Ehsan Mazari has made a big statement. He said,
“The Indian team has demanded a neutral venue for the Asia Cup. If India does not come to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup, we will not send the Pakistan team to India. Otherwise, we will also play the match at a neutral venue.”
The PCB and Pakistan government’s security committee will decide whether the Pakistan team will play in India or not.
