Proud of Leki! As soon as Renuka received a bid of crores, mother distributed sweets
The Women’s Premier League auction saw money raining down on female players. Just like the men’s IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore, who bought a team in the women’s IPL, did well in the auction. Within the first hour, he had built a solid squad, bringing in five highly effective players. Renuka Thakur Singh, a young Indian women’s fast bowler, also became part of RCB. After her auction, her hometown family celebrated by distributing sweets.

Renuka Thakur, who is currently the best fast bowler in the Indian women’s team, was eyed by all the teams. She won the ICC Emerging Player of the Year award last month. Therefore, it is expected that she will get a big bid in this auction. Right from the start, RCB looked determined to have her in their team. RCB shelled out Rs 1.5 crore for her, beating Mumbai and UP.
