Puran, who was called a ‘flop’, proved himself! Gambhir’s faith proved worthwhile

Pooran was released by Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the IPL 2023 auction. After that, Lucknow added him to their team by paying a huge amount of 16 crores. Many criticized this decision at that time. Then in the important match against Hyderabad, he scored an unbeaten 44 off 15 balls to win the team. Now even in the last match, realizing the need of the team, he scored 58 runs off 30 balls.

If we consider this entire season, he has scored 358 runs in 14 matches. Meanwhile, his average is 32 and strike rate is 173. During this, 26 sixes came from his bat. Now the Lucknow team will expect similar performance from him in the eliminator and the next matches as well.
