Indian cricket team’s experienced batsman Virat Kohli is currently considered as one of the best batsmen in the world. He has many records in batting. Even as Virat approaches the end of his career, his performance shows consistency. Speaking about his successful career so far, former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina spoke highly of him.

Raina and Virat were the main pillars of Indian cricket team’s batting for many years. Together they won many matches for the Indian team. Speaking in an interview recently, Raina was asked about Virat’s career. Appreciating him at the time, he said,

“Virat’s self-belief is tremendous. When we used to play he used to say before every match with great confidence now I want to score a century. This affinity for the game and belief in himself has been the key to his success so far.”

Virat currently appears at the second position in the list of batsmen who have scored the most runs in international cricket. He also has the second most international centuries to his name. The Indian team will once again expect a good performance from him in the ODI World Cup to be held in the month of October and November.

On the other hand, Raina took international cricket by storm in 2020. He then announced his retirement after playing one year in IPL. Currently he is playing his second innings as a commentator along with playing in some foreign leagues. He has also recently opened a new restaurant in England under his own name.
