Before this first ODI match against Australia, Rajinikanth and India’s wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson also met. Samson shared a picture with Thalaiwa Rajinikanth on his official social media account. In the caption of the post, Samson wrote, “At the age of 7 I told my parents, one day I will go to meet Rajinikanth sir at his house. Today is the day after 21 years, when Thalaiva invited me home.”
