Ranji Trophy to start this month, BCCI has received information about the upcoming domestic season

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the upcoming season of domestic cricket (2023-24). The Indian cricket team has had many players in recent years who have joined the national team on the back of their performances in the Indian Premier League. But domestic cricket has been very important for the Indian team to gain recognition at the international level. In the coming season too, there will be many young players who can showcase India in the future.

The upcoming Ranji season will begin on January 5, 2024, which will be played for a total of 70 days. The final match of the Ranji Trophy was played on 14th March. The league stage of the Ranji Trophy will end on February 19. The knock-out matches will be played from February 23. Duleep Trophy in domestic cricket will be played from July 28 to 16. After that, the Deodhar Trophy will be played from July 24 to August 4. The Irani Cup between the Ranji Trophy winning team (Saurashtra) and the Rest of India team will be played from October 1 to 5.

The Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament will be held from October 16 to November 6. Then the Vijay Hazare Trophy will be played from November 23 to December 15. (The BCCI has announced the schedule for the upcoming season of domestic cricket)
