Kerala all-rounder Jalaj Saxena shone brightly in the Ranji Trophy 2022-23 season. He took 50 wickets at an average of 19 in just 7 matches. He has taken 5 wickets 6 times and 10 wickets 2 times. Jalaj tweeted, “The highest wicket-taker in Ranji Trophy (Elite Group) in India has not been selected for the Duleep Trophy. Can you check if this has ever happened before in Indian domestic cricket? I just want to know. I am not blaming anyone.”
