It happened that the 9th over of Lucknow Super Giants’ innings was bowled by Mohit Sharma from Gujarat Titans. Also, this time Lucknow’s opener Kyle Mayers was on strike. Mohit bowled the first ball straight. Meyers hit a hook shot on this. However, the ball could not make it to the boundary. Myers was unable to complete his half-century as Rashid took the catch. He returned to the tent with 48 off 32 balls. His innings also included 2 sixes and 7 fours.

Match review
In this match, Gujarat Titans lost the toss and batted first. They scored 227 runs at the loss of 2 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and challenged Lucknow to 228 runs. Mohsin Khan and Avesh Khan managed to take 1 wicket each from Lucknow. While batting from Lucknow, Meyers and Quinton de Kock put on a partnership of 81 runs for the first wicket. However, Lucknow’s innings went cold again after Meyers’ wicket fell. By the 14th over, the Lucknow team could score 121 runs losing 2 wickets.
