Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja on Wednesday (March 1) completed 500 wickets in his international career. After taking the wicket of opener Travis Head, Jadeja became the second all-rounder after Ravindra Jadeja Kapil Dev, setting a unique record for India.

Jadeja has so far scored 5527 runs in international cricket and also completed 500 wickets of his own on Wednesday. On the other hand, Kapil Dev scored 9031 runs and took 657 wickets in his international career. Although Jadeja became the second Indian after Kapil Dev to score 5000 runs and 500 wickets, Jadeja is still far behind Kapil Dev. Jadeja will have to maintain his good form in international cricket for a long time to overtake Asat Kapil.
