The 11th match of Women’s Premier League 2023 was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore Women vs Delhi Capitals Women. In this match, Delhi Capitals women’s team shocked RCB by 6 wickets. After this defeat, Smriti Mandhana-led RCB lost their fifth match in a row in the tournament. Thus, RCB remained at the last position in the points table losing 5 matches. Thus, fans have also given up hope of RCB qualifying. However, RCB team can play an eliminator match through some equation. Let’s find out about it…
RCB last in the points table
Royal Challengers Bangalore’s performance in the Womens Premier League 2023 has been very poor. They have lost all five matches they have played so far in the tournament. Talking about the position in the points table, Mumbai Indians team has won 4 out of 4 matches in the tournament. They have topped with 8 points.
Unfortunate to miss out on the reward after putting up such a strong fight, right till the end. 💔#PlayBold #OurRCB #SheIsBold #WPL2023 #DCvRCB pic.twitter.com/H3VKNZw8No

Also, Delhi Capitals team has won 4 out of 5 matches. With that they are second in the points table. UP Warriors team is third and Gujarat Giants team is fourth. With RCB yet to win, they are fifth in the points table. In fact, the team that tops the points table will qualify directly for the finals. Also, an eliminator match will be played between the second and third placed teams.

RCB will have to do ‘this’ job to qualify
The RCB team led by Smriti Mandhana includes more than one player. However, the team has not been able to win a single game. Thus the team has reached a ‘do or die’ situation. RCB have three matches left. They have to win all three of these matches, losing any of these matches will end their journey in the tournament.
RCB team will have to wait for the defeat of others to win. Because, the equation is that RCB will have to depend on the defeat of other teams. Mumbai and Delhi will have to beat Gujarat and UP in their upcoming matches. After this, only when Delhi team has to defeat Mumbai, RCB team can reach the third position. (even after losing 5 consecutive matches all the routes to qualify are open for royal challengers bangalore know how)
