Shikhar Dhawan went for a trip to Manali at the age of 14-15. On this trip, he got a tattoo on his back without telling him at home. For the next 3-4 months he had no idea about this tattoo at home. But once his father heard about this tattoo. After this, Dhawan beat his father. According to Dhawan, he was very scared after this incident. Because he had no idea how many people were tattooed with one needle. It was for this reason that he took an HIV test, which came back negative.

The tattoo that Dhawan got on his back at that time was of a scorpion. Currently, more than one tattoo can be seen on his body. It also has a tattoo of Shankar and Arjuna.
