Rohit is planning Ahmedabad Test not Indore! WTC said of the finale, “Preparation now…”

The third Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 between India and Australia will be played from Wednesday (March 1). Indian team will try to win this match and make the series in their favor. The match will be played at the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Indore. In the press conference held on the eve of the match, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma also announced his next strategy.

The Indian team celebrated a resounding victory in the first two Tests of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series. The Indian team won these matches in Nagpur and Delhi in three days. So there is more chance of Indian team winning the Indore match. Speaking against this backdrop, Rohit Sharma expressed his confidence to win the Indore Test. He also said that after winning this match, we will start preparing for the World Test Championship. he said,

“If the result of the Indore Test is to our liking, we will think differently in the Ahmedabad Test. The Test will be used as a preparation for the final of the World Test Championship. Shardul Thakur is also part of that plan. But he got married recently. But we will definitely try to do something different in the Ahmedabad Test.”

Winning the Indore Test will give the Indian team direct qualification for the final of the World Test Championship. The final of the tournament will be played from June 6 at The Oval. New Zealand defeated the Indian team in the first final of the tournament to win the title.
