Meanwhile, Sanju Samson’s ODI performance in 2022 has been tremendous. He has been amazing in some matches this year. Last year he scored 284 runs in 10 matches at an average of 71. However, 2023 saw Samson completely ignored by the team management and selectors. Rishabh Pant, the team’s regular wicket-keeper, was seriously injured in an accident in December last year.
