Rohit, who today owns crores, once did not even have money to pay school fees, needs to pay ‘Ashi’.
Indian team captain Rohit Sharma is celebrating his 36th birthday on Sunday i.e. 30th April. Opening batsman Rohit is a regular member of the Indian team. He has so far played big knocks to lead the Indian team to victory. Although Rohit has achieved great success now, he has worked hard for it.
Rohit was born on April 30, 1987 in an economically poor family in Nagpur. But his parents shifted to Mumbai when he was young. But as they could not afford the expenses of 2 children, Rohit often stayed with his grandparents and uncle.
When Rohit started training under Dinesh Lad, he advised him to change schools. He suggested him to take admission in Swami Vivekananda International School. Because there were good facilities for practice and training.
But initially Rohit was reluctant for this. Because he knew that going to a new school would mean financial problems and his family would not be able to pay the school fees.
At that time Dinesh Lad came to his aid. Lad arranged for Rohit to get a scholarship. So he was exempted from paying fees for the next 4 years.
Despite this, Rohit pursued his passion for cricket and built a successful career. Interestingly, Rohit, who saw poverty as a child, now lives in a 30 crore house in Worli.
