Rohit’s Test century drought ends, becomes Australia’s biggest headache in Nagpur Test
Indian team captain Rohit Sharma gave an amazing performance in the first test match against Australia. Rohit had not scored a century in Test cricket for a long time. Rohit’s century drought in the Test format finally ended on Friday (February 10). Rohit made this century in 177 balls with the help of 14 fours and 2 sixes.

Led by Rohit Sharma (), the Indian team was seen performing well in the first Test match against Australia. Rohit also performed well as a captain and scored his 9th Test century. Rohit had scored his last Test century against England on September 2, 2021 before this match. Rohit scored 127 runs in the first innings and 138 runs in the second innings in this Test match played at The Oval Stadium in London. After that, Rohit could not score a Test century. But on Friday, he regained his rhythm in this format.
As soon as Rohit scored this century, he made some big records to his name. Rohit Sharma became the first Indian to score a century while playing as captain in all three formats of cricket (Test, ODI and T20). Earlier no Indian captain could score a century in all three formats of cricket.
