Sachin’s emotional post after Arjun’s debut! Expressing his feelings, he wrote, ‘As your father…’

The 22nd match of IPL 2023 was played between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders. After the first two defeats, Mumbai got back to winning ways once again and won their second consecutive win by 5 wickets. Arjun Tendulkar, son of India’s all-time great batsman Sachin Tendulkar, made his IPL debut for Mumbai in this match. After that, Sachin made a special social media post for him.

After waiting for almost three years, Arjun got a chance to make his IPL debut. Captain Rohit Sharma gave him his cap. Arjun conceded only 5 runs in the first over of the match. He scored 17 runs in just two overs in the match. After this first match, Sachin made a special social media post for his son. He wrote,

‘Arjun today you took an important step in your life. As your dad and a true believer in this sport, I would like to say that if you respect the sport, you will get success and people’s love in return. You have worked hard to get here. You will work harder. This is a new beginning. Good luck to you.’

Arjun is known as a left arm medium fast bowler as well as an aggressive batsman. Arjun was initially signed by Mumbai in 2021 for a fee of Rs 20 lakh. After that, Mumbai again bid 40 lakhs on him in the 2022 IPL auction. However, he did not get a chance to play in both these seasons. He remained on the bench in the first three matches of this season as well.
