Considering this match, Mumbai won the toss and decided to bowl first. Venkatesh Iyer, batting at number three for KKR, scored a century in this match. He scored 104 runs. As he did not get the expected support from other batsmen, KKR could only reach 184 runs. While chasing these runs, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan gave a powerful opening of 65 runs to Mumbai. After that, captain Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Verma and Team David played aggressively and won the team by keeping five wickets. This was Mumbai’s second consecutive win and KKR’s second consecutive defeat.
