Saying ‘Bola tha na bande mein hai dum…’, Harbhajan fudged on Rahul’s innings, while Sehwag said…

We have often read or heard that ‘every day is not the same’. This phrase would not be out of place if used for a player in the Indian team. That player is explosive batsman KL Rahul. Rahul has been facing poor form for some time now. Rahul had to put in a lot of effort even when he crossed the 30-run mark. However, now Rahul’s days have changed. Rahul played the winning knock against Australia in the first ODI at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday (March 17). His innings made India’s win even easier. Now he is showered with accolades from all quarters for his performance.

Interestingly, KL Rahul performed poorly in the first two matches of the Test series. Therefore, the post of vice-captain was also taken away from him. He was subsequently dropped from the remaining two Test matches as well. However, he silenced the critics by scoring a storming half-century in India vs Australia’s first Test match. Rahul scored an unbeaten 75 runs. He put on an unbeaten 108-run partnership with Ravindra Jadeja for the sixth wicket. Now bridges are being built to praise Rahul on social media.

After the great victory of the Indian team, former Indian player Harbhajan Singh tweeted. In it, he wrote, “I was told, there is breath in the paper.” Very nice KL Rahul. Good to see you scoring runs for India and winning the first ODI. Jadeja performed well with bat and ball. Mohammad Shami and Mohammad Siraj also bowled brilliantly.”

After him, India’s explosive former opener Virender Sehwag said, “All is well if the end is good. Brilliant all-round performance by Jaddu and brilliant innings by KL Rahul.”

Other Indian players also praised India and the players after the win.

Talking about the match, India won the toss and decided to bowl. This time, India bowled out Australia for 188 runs in 35.4 overs with Shami and Siraj taking 3 wickets each. India got off to a poor start in chasing this challenge. India lost quick wickets. Explosive players like Suryakumar Yadav, Virat Kohli could not even score 5 runs. However, then Rahul (75 not out) and Jadeja (45 not out) put on a winning partnership of 108 runs for the sixth wicket. Also, he scored 191 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 39.5 overs to lead the team to victory. Interestingly, Jadeja also took two wickets while bowling. He was awarded the man of the match award for his all-round performance. (former cricketer harbhajan singh praised kl rahul after india vs australia 1st odi match)
